Hoosier Park exec reassures employees

ANDERSON, Indiana -- Hoosier Park Racing & Casino raced to reassure both employees and the city on the news its parent company Centaur has filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy, The Herald-Bulletin reported.

Employees were informed "nothing's going to change" by the racino General Manager of Gaming, The Herald-Bulletin said.

City officials were also reassured that tax money would be paid, the report noted.

Hoosier Park is optimistic it will overcome its licencing and tax burdens through this Chapter 11 reorganization, the Herald-Bulletin report said
